Hi Dawn.I just wanted to say that my Baltic Amber hair ties arrived yesterday. I wore one all day today. I wrapped it around my ponytail twice, and it held my hair in place quite firmly. It didn't slide at all, which is quite unusual. It's also fantastic. It's so difficult to find barrettes that work but don't cause damage.My first impression of the hair tie is teriffic. Keep up the good work, and definitely let us know if you are planning anymore great barrettes in the future.Thanks,Teresa

Thanks Teresa!I am so thrilled to hear that you're happy with your ties. I myself wear them every single day, for the very reason you mentioned, nothing else will stay put in my hair and the conventional ties with the metal clamp always really tore up my fine hair. I have some amber ties that I made more than three years ago, I beat the heck out of them, even wear them swimming (I definitely don't recommend this!) and they are still going strong.
