I have fine hair that is almost collar length. I recently bought a banana clip hair-piece that is bra-strap length. I love it, my fiance' loves it, and from the looks I get when I wear it, most other people think it looks pretty good, too. I want to wear a shorter version (just at my shoulders) for my wedding. My reasoning is that it's pretty, it's easy and it won't go flat like my own hair will. I tried an up-do of my own hair at an expensive salon, and it wasen't very pretty at all. It was really flat to my head on the sides, and after the stylist left a part in the front for the veil comb to sit, the front didn't blend in with the rest anymore. The end result was kind of like a flat top made of ribbon curls. The hairstylists I've spoken to seem to think I'm odd when I say "I have a hair-clip that I want to use"Am I committing a Bridal faux-pas by wanting to use fake hair?
