I have really fine hair that I'm trying to grow out. It has a tendency to be oily, so it gets limp really easy. I need a suggestion for an easy style and some products that might help deter split ends

Jade--I'm growing out my fine hair too. I've found that blunt styles are best--no layers except for some slight graduation around the face. (You don't want to take too much from the bulk of the hair.) Also, I get frequent(monthly)"duster trims," which skim less than an eighth of an inch from my ends. This is important because fine hair splits so easily. For oily fine hair, wash it daily, but dilute your shampoo with water and concentrate application on the scalp only. The entire length of your hair won't benefit from frequent washing. Condition only from the ears down.In my experience, the best thing to do is throw away your blow dryer and let your hair dry naturally. I bid mine adieu four months ago, and already the improvement in my hair is amazing. This is all advice I learned on this forum, btw. :)Best,Ally
