Hard Water Deposits on Hair Date Posted: January 12 2000 at 2:47am Hi,Our water softener 'died' and it took several days to get it fixed. As we live in the country, our extremely hard water has done a real number on my hair. It is dull, and almost 'sticky' after washing.
