I've been dying my hair since i was about 11 im 17 now...my natural hair color is Orange so no one can really blame me. ive had everything go wrong with "profesionals" when it comes to my hair so i try to do it myself as much as posible. The latest disaster is i tried to get a perm (and i actualy broke down and went to "profesionals") the perm streaked out the black in my hair so now it looks super icky, pluss no one told the girl that you shouldnt perm hair thats been bleached so it frized and killed my hair, im talking breaking when i brush it etc... so now that i need to get new color in my hair i was woundering if i could bleach it again, or if i stripped the color in it if it would go to the bleached color under the black....i was thinking to going back to purple or infrared or maybe try something a tad bit normal....at any rate i seriously need help.. feel free to email me or what have you Ecstasia@ hotmail.comthanksSarah Jane

The important thing is to try to save what you have and worry about the color later. go toa salon that sells Redken products and get some Extreme/Climatress conditioner and somePPT. Also buy some Joico K-Pak conditioner. Go to a health food store and get some wheat germ oil. Mix equal parts of all and apply to towel drie hair leave on at least one hour and rinse with luke warm water very gently. wrap your hair with a towel and sit under a hair drier or heat lamp if you have one. Repeat as ness until things get better. william.

I would also recommend cutting off some of the hair if youcan. Use conditioner! Get a large toothed comb or pick--don't use a brush. I also have black hair (oh how goth--haha), and also color it myself. The gentlest black I can think of is made by Clairol-"Radience" in black-get it at Sally Beauty. It should help to seal some of your ends and it also makes your hair *shiny*!!btw--from one freak to another--*don't* go normal! Don't give in! Be Creative and be you--and *condition* your hair!-nyx
