I thought to-curl-or-not was predetermined in the genes even before the hair grew out of the scalp but apparently, my hair curls in many places but is straight in others! I am pulling out individual healthy curls from my roots to get a sleek smooth look. Is this wise and can I do anything to prevent hair from becoming curly? Replies:
