First off.. you did a great job on covering the product. Secondly, after reading it I gave the Smoothing shampoo another try. When I used the Smoothing line in conjuction with each other, my hair went totally limp. So tonight, I used the smoothing shampoo with Curessence. It did great. Actually, my hair is super soft. I am thinking I may just not beable to use the Smoothing condiitoner.. I agree the smell of the shampoo is nice. So glad you had the great chance of meeting Jane Seymour. That had to be fun. Sorry to hear she is cutting some of the length off. If she listens to the fashion advisors, she may go shorter yet unless she is committed. In some of the later Dr. Quinn shows, her hair got quite long. The hairstyles on that show make me drewl! Thanks for your time and effort to bring us your articles.. Cher~

Hi Cher,Thanks for the feedback on ARTec. If you can believe this, I actually got email from the ARTec home office about my review. I had a wonderful long chat on the phone with someone from the home office about my experiences with the product. They were very gracious and helpful.I am glad you are giving it another try. I was first not wild about Nature's Gate. I had to finally give up on the shampoo...but I alternate the conditioner a couple of times a week and it works really well.I even discussed this with the person from ARTec...that every hair is different and that some of the products works well for some...but not others.Yes...I am worried about Jane Seymour. She has a contract to sell hair color....I am not sure which one...and when Cybill Shepard was selling hair color...her hair changed a lot. So I hope Jane does not buy into the "you're over 40" cut your hair stuff.By the way....I just got a new book from Amazon.com that is styles and hair looks for mature clients...most have gray hair. I really like the book. I am going to put a review of it up soon so you can check it out. I am going to try and sneak a few photos in too so you can see what the book has to offer. That is the only problem with buying books over the internet. You can actually thumb through books at the store...if you can find it. That is the other problem. About 50% of the 90 books that are currently reviewed in the bookstore...I could never find in bookstores. I had to take a chance and order them from Amazon. I must say I have never been disappointed...but it is a risk.I am really loving all the SalonOvations books. They are really doing some great stuff. The only problem is that they tend to be pricey. Oh well...isn't that life?Have a great weekend Cher.Hugs,Karen> First off.. you did a great job on covering the> product. Secondly, after reading it I gave the> Smoothing shampoo another try. Hi Karen,I really liked your review of the Artec Smoothing Shampooand Conditioner. Your article left me wanting very muchto try the products. My next shampoo/conditioner purchaseswill be for these products (but I don't know how soon thatwill be as I have begun to accumulate shampoo andconditioner bottles in my bathroom :-)I caught your reference to the old ad slogan from the early1970's that you "would rather fight than switch..." I guessI'm dating myself here, huh? As I recall, that slogan wasused to promote some brand of cancer sticks but I can'tremember for certain which one (Benson & Hedges?) It'samazing that my mind would remember such useless info.Oh well. Anyway, just wanted to second Cher's "hurrah" onyour review of the ARtec products!Dave

Hi Dave,Thanks for the kudos. :-)I am going to do an entire series on ARTec and will review the Moisture Pac Hydrating Treatment next. I love that stuff. Then it is on to the Texture Gel and the Serum which works on hair either blow dried or air dried. Thanks again. Glad you enjoyed. Lots of new content coming for the site. I have been in a "writing mood" lately...so stay tuned.Hugs,Karen> Hi Karen,> I really liked your review of the Artec Smoothing> Shampoo> and Conditioner.
