Hello everyone.I thought that I'd write and tell of my latest trial of a new shampoo and conditioner. I went to Whole Foods to pick up some Nature's Gate and found a variety that I hadn't seen before, called Biotin Treatment Shampoo and Biotin Conditioner Gel. It specifically says on the bottle that it "rids scalp of harmful debris" and contains biotin, panthenol, keratin amino acids, inositol, RNA, DNA, jojoba oil, and natural sunscreens.A question for Laura Jane if you read this. It contains TEA-Lauryl Sulfate instead of Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Is there a significant difference? So far I've used the shampoo and conditioner for four washes. I like it very much and think that it will be one that I use on a regular basis from now on. My hair tends to be very oily to the point that I sometimes have an itchy scalp and get dandruff. The shampoo has mint oil in it and gives a pleasant, very mild tingling sensation as it is applied. I also found that it seems to penetrate down to the scalp easily. A problem that I sometimes have is that I can't get the shampoo through all the hair and down to the scalp. That's not the case with this one. It also lathers pretty well, definitely more than the other NG that I've tried. It leaves my hair and scalp feeling very clean but not stripped or dry. The conditioner also seems to be working as my hair feels very silky all the way down to the ends. I forgot to mention earlier that the conditioner is not in the typical NG bottle. It is a sort of solid creme in a small (4oz.) jar.To sum up, I would definitely recommend the Biotin shampoo and conditoner to anyone with oily hair. Has anyone else tried it? What were your experiences? Thanks,Teresa

I've never tried that shampoo, but I something interesting in my opinion is that biotin is a vitamin supplement I've been taking to help my hair grow faster. I heard it recommended, and claims that it would help hair grow at least an extra 1/4 inch per month. It seems to have helped my hair grow faster. I'm curious as to whether this shampoo would help hair grow faster in addition to all the other benifits you've mentioned. Please keep up updated on how its working!
