I have tried salon after salon, and beauty college after beauty college. Where can I find a salon that specializes in long hair in Oregon, esp in the Portland area?My hair is 1)long 2)thin 3)soft 4)oily 5)totally flat on top.Perms don't take in the top half of my hair, or if they seem to, it all washes out in 2 shampoos. My hair is not heavy, but it is long...lower middle back. The ends always perm well, but I look like a freak. I currently do not have bangs, do not really want bangs... my hair is so thin I don't want to take anything away from the thickness. I don't use a blowdryer or a curling iron...I never comb my hair while wet. But I want volume on top. I love curls, love perms, don't trust hairdressers. Is there a site to recommend to find a good hairdresser in my area?
