Hi all!I just want to know if anyone has tried straighteningproducts like shampoos, conditioners and also any finishingproducts which do not cause build up (ie are ok for oilyhair) and also act as heat protectants.thanks,jo

Hi Jo!I have tried many salon straightening balms and shampoos on my loose curls (i.e. KMS, Paul Brown Senscience, Redken, Nick Chavez). Even though I still believe in good, quality styling products (My bathroom closet is loaded with salon brands), after much trial and error, I have found that Citre Shine Straightening Balm is the ONLY balm that doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or greasy,... just soft, soft, soft. The softness is probably due to the built in heat activated thermal protectant. I highly recommend this very inexpensive product!
