I'm looking for either a leave-in conditioner or styling product to just put on the area of damage onthe back of my hair, not all over. The rest of my hair is in pretty good condition, but this area is verygummy when wet and tangles easily when it's dry, so I'd like something to help keep it smooth andsoft without feeling like it has a coating on it.Any suggestions appreciated!Kara

Hi Kara!I have highlighted hair that is pretty damaged due to the fact that the highlights are over multiple old haircolors--Anyway, I personally do not care for the run of the mill leave-ins,...they simply are not moisturizing enough. However, I must combat my dryness. A trick that I have used for ages is using my regular conditioner as a leave in. Now, I know that this is bucking the natural order of things, but it REALLY works. I use only a dime size amount of ARTec Smoothing Conditioner and follow up with the ARTec Texture Creme(which is also moisturizing). This routine has NEVER made my hair heavy or greasy, just VERY soft! Give it a try!Sherry
