>I would suggest a really shiny ruby red by L'Oreals high restinance reds (they have many shades of reds, burgandy etc),as your hair is dark brown(like mine) the lighter you go the more risk of damage can occur unless you have strong virgin hair, as a hairdresser I tortured my dark brown hair with strong bleach foils(Ihave fine hair but tons of it with a wave-yuk) resulting in fried hair!!, I got it cut short& now only use Salon Semis (the activator SHOULD not contain ANY AMMONIA & no more than 1.09% PEROXIDE, also get the colourist to take in to account your skin colour (as some reds can bring out a florrid complexion even more the pink face is not a good look! Good luck & PLEASE make a consultation so you can get your hair looking great but most importantly in excellent condition as well as you are so dark get the colourist to explain ALL the pigments in hair &what colours they are when lightening. If I were to get highlights put into my dark brown> hair what color should I request my stylist to> use??????> I would like any reccomendations ranging from an> extreme to a natural look!> Thanks!!!!> Regina
