I am going to have them put in this weekend and have heard mixed opinions. My black girlfriends say do it. My white female friends say it hurts. I am going either way, but I am nervous on how real this is going to feel. I have short hair now and I know everyone will notice 100%, but I want it to feel like real hair.

They don't really hurt, it's just that the first couple of days it feels a little tight due to the braiding of the hair which you will get used to. As far as them feeling like real hair, as long as you have a very good quality hair extension put in, and you take very good care of the extensions, I think you will really enjoy them. I really like them. I go about every 10 weeks and have them tightened.Good luck!!Ellen

I had super cheapo extensions put in when I had braids, but I didn't keep them long enough to ever have them tightened... how is that done?Jennifer> I had extensions put in almost a year ago.
