I'm back with one of my old wives tales. My grandmother is from Saint Crioux and she gave me a mixture that she said is supposed to be really good for hair. I'm not sure what it is but I can smell castor oil and a hint of lanolin in it. Are any of these good for hair? She said it is an old recipe for maximum health and growth and her hair is down to her waist. Before I use it, I want to know if it is good for the hair. It is really hard to go by my grandmother because she is kind of old fashioned and she has been wearing her hair in a braid everyday for the last twenty years anyway. Nowadays I need scientific proof, not just word of mouth. Anyone have any input?(hint hint Jade21 who schooled me so well on olive oil and wheat germ oil) Replies:
