I often wonder what people experience in different regions. When I did hair in Texas, I saw alot of dandruff. In Minnesota, I see so much Psoriasis! Due to the extremes of seasons I believe. Well, for most flaky things, I have two solutions I rely on heavily. First, Aveda Scalp Remedy. It's a white creme that you massage into scalp (when hair is dry) prior to washing. If not that, then Aveda Energizing or Calming Neutrients or Beautifying Formula. All of which are oil compositions containing mostly JoJoba. Other good oil to use, Tea Tree aka Melaluca. Massage into scalp (while hair is dry) roll brush at scalp, (preferrably soft natural bristle brush) then shampoo. This should do the trick and only needs to be done when flaking or itching becomes noticable again.
