Hi all...since I've read so many good things about ARTec's Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner, I'm interested in trying them for myself but, my hair is fine and very straight. I do color it regularly so I'm careful to keep it conditioned. Has anyone out there with this type hair tried these products & if so, how did your hair respond? I want to try it, but thought it would leave my hair too conditioned to style. Thanks! Kelly F.

It depends on what kind of styling you're doing. My hair is fine and straight also but it's long. I don't fight it by trying to curl it etc. or do a lot of complicated styles. I just blow it straighter to get a very sleek look. The Smoothing conditioner makes it really silky and gives my hair a little weight, which I need because it's so fine. I also like it because it makes my hair easy to de-tangle. If your hair is short or you are going for volume though, this probably would not be the best choice.

Hi Kelly,I don't have your hair type, but I do use ARTec Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair is very processed with loose natural curl. The Smoothing conditioner and shampoo may be a bit to heavy for fine hair like yours, but in the same "Textureline", ARTec makes the Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. You still get the same great smell and essential benefits, without some of the extra emulsifiers that weigh hair down. ARTec even suggests using the Smoothing and Volume line together, such as Volume Shampoo and Smoothing Conditioner, or vice-versa. Also TRY,TRY the ARTec TextureCreme! For fine hair, I believe that it for this product could be a miracle! I Love it for the smell, but it's too light for my course curls! Good Luck!Sherry
