I have decided since my last perm - mid december - to grow the chemicals out of my hair. Here's my dilemna. I don't know how, or what to use while it is growing out. I haven't had natuarl hair since the 70's. Can some other Black women please help me with advice, and care, and products.Right nowm I have hair that is about 5 inches in length. I looked up some postes for the last two months, but I am still clueless. I guess my first task is to find the book Good Hair at the library. But where from there. I read so many things. Wild growth - I've seen it, does it really make your hair grow?. Horsetail - I use Biosil since yesterday, can you really get your hair to grow 2 inches in a month?. I use the creme of nature ultra moisturizing shampoo. I haven't used the HAIR conditioner, but i've seen it.What about styling options? It's hard to put my hair into a braid or ponytail, because i have breakage in the crown. I'm sure it's from the relaxers. I can't wear braids - unspoken rule at work. I've had extensions, but they irritate my scalp too.Any and all suggestions are welcome.Ps. Marsha:), I tried to email you at the address you posted in the Dity=Growth thread, but it was returned as unknown. Can you post it again.PS KendiaThese products that your sister makes for you. Are they for sale? Are the ingredients or recipes available? Please answer soon. My hair needs some serious help.
