A couple months ago, there was a lot of talk about wwbeautystore.Haha, this is the funny part, I thought you meant www.beautystore.com so thats where I always went. They did have beauty supplies and shampoos like Aveda and L'anza. Then finally I learned that it was www. wwbeautystore.comI just wanted to share that with you guysI have no idea how I got www.beautystore !But anyways, its a very organized site, very limited in products,( probably because of this Aveda competition thing ), but it is neat and easy to search. Haha.Related Link:WWW dot Beauty store dot com

Hi Little O,Actually I have received email about this. People get confused about the stores a lot. There is so much controversy about selling Aveda online that they stopped long before WW Beauty did. Now WW Beauty is temporarily not selling Aveda because of the factory reorgs between Estee Lauder & Aveda. I have to admit that one of the reasons that I switched to ARTec (which I adore) was because Aveda was becoming so impossible to buy. I used to be able to buy it several places in Dallas but the whole Aveda Concept Store thing limited me to about 4 places and the prices were a lot higher.I was so thrilled when WW Beauty sold Aveda at such good prices but then Aveda put the clamp on WW Beauty and would only let them sell Aveda if they created a "buyer" club. That made is somehow more exclusive.Anyway....I still use Aveda, but it is not my primary product anymore. ARTec and Phytologie are my two favorites. I still use Aveda Shampure and Aveda Curressence from time to time, but not very often anymore.I guess I went off on a tangent here. :-) Sorry. Thanks for the topic. It is a good one.Best wishes,Karen> A couple months ago, there was a lot of talk about> wwbeautystore.> Haha, this is the funny part, I thought you meant> www.beautystore.com so thats where I always went.> They did have beauty supplies and shampoos like Aveda> and L'anza. Hi, Karen,I am now sold on Artec as well. I cashed in that sale that JC Penney is having and I bought some smoothing serum as well which I love. I am using the smoothing shampoo and conditioner, and I love them. I still have some Aveda products, which I still like, but I wonder if they are as committed now to the same principles they had before-like using organic ingredients whenever possible. If they aren't, that's OK, but I don't want to be mislead into thinking that they are, if indeed they are not. I am kind of lucky in that there is a beauty school right by my house that also happens to be an Aveda Concept Salon. Their prices have always been comparable to the internet prices, and I have not noticed a price hike yet. But we'll see what happens.Regards,Clare> Hi Little O,> Actually I have received email about this. People get> confused about the stores a lot. Hi Clare,I left you another post further down about your posts disappearing last week.As far as Aveda goes...I am not sure what to think. It is hard to imagine that they would abandon their basic principles of using natural products...but who knows? I think only time and money will tell. Since Estee Lauder now owns them...and Estee is a big corporation with an eye towards the bottom line...it may be that some of the ingredients will no longer be as natural. It is hard to say at this point and I guess the best bet is to take a wait and see.Right now ARTec is still relatively small and so they are very focused on providing the consumers with the very best products and using the best ingredients that they can. Yes they do use some chemicals, but then so did Aveda. Unless you go with a product like the ones you can get in the Health Food Stores...you will have a hard time finding any products without some chemicals.I hope that ARTec continues to focus on their consumers and there appears to be every evidence that they will for a long time to come. Keep your fingers crossed that they don't get bought out. That seems to generate change with most of the hair care companies.I am so glad you are enjoying ARTec. I never thought that I could ever like anything as much as Aveda and in some ways I like ARTec more. I also love the smoothing serum. It works great on my hair even when I "airdry" it.Thanks for the post.Best wishes,Karen> Hi, Karen,> I am now sold on Artec as well.
