Has anyone ever tried 1 cup of olive oil w/ two tsps. of cayanne as a tonic for growth? I saw this posted in a news group as being a super fast hair grower. I have not tried this, but it seems rather harmless. I just want to know if anyone had ever tried this and was there anything to it?Thanks....Anita

Hi,I have tried it. It does cause the scalp to tingle tremendously. I saw a similar recipe in Riquette's book on growing hair and tried the cayenne/olive oil version 10 years ago when I had my bout with hair loss. I am not sure that it did any good, but it did make my scalp heat up. I also tried Basil oil mixed with olive oil as well. This also burned and again I am not sure if it helped or not. I think the fact that my scalp was tingling made all the difference in how I felt...like I concluded that something must be happening if my scalp was tingling. If you try it...keep us posted.Best wishes,Karen> Has anyone ever tried 1 cup of olive oil w/ two tsps.> of cayanne as a tonic for growth?
