I was wondering if you could give me suggestions for my hair problems. I have naturally curly, fine (but not baby fine) hair. I have damaged it so badly and I want to get it back into condition. I have permed it a few times to get body and have colored it once or twice too. It is now frizzy and damaged and dry, yet if I don't wash it every day it goes limp and starts getting greasy. I wonder if you could suggest a shampoo and conditioner that would help. I have tried frizz-eaze and it weighs my hair down too much. I airdry my hair because blowdrying is too harsh. I don't use styling products or hairspray because it is too sticky. I hope you can help. Thank you.

Thank you.First off, if you do color and do perm, you have no choice, but to use styling products and/or hairspray. You are living in the most impressive time ever! for finding quality haircare products that do what they say they will do. So, come on, and get with the program!! You need a deep conditioner, either 2 minutes everytime you shampoo, or a 20 min. treatment once a week until you see the shine and softness and styling ability come back into your hair. And always remember to comb and brush wet hair gently, due to the hydrogen bonds in the hair. they are easily damaged when wet hair is stretched and tugged on. Back to Basic makes a line called Basic Texture. Use the sham. and cond. called So Straight. And this line has great styling products to enhance your texture and make it work for you, not against you. good luck!!!
