I keep seeing people who say they only wash their hair 2-3 times a week. What if you workout and sweat everyday? My hair is dry, frizzy and color treated but I have to shampoo it daily because of daily workouts. I have to blow dry as well because my hair just looks bad airdried (cowlicks and semi-wavy texture) and I work in a high-visibility corporate job where polish is key. I don't think letting salt and oil build up is very good (or fragrant either). Any suggestions?

Kathleen, I have to wash my hair everyday, as well, and sometimes twice a day (due to workouts and then deciding to go out, or something along those lines). It tends to be dry, but what's the alternative -- greasy hair from an intense workout?! I also have to blowdry or it's out of control. So. . .I use gentle shampoos (generally Aussie) and just started using Nature's Gate Jojoba Conditioner -- which is a miracle in a bottle! My ends aren't looking or feeling dry anymore, which is incredible. I also try to blowdry on a cooler setting, and let it air dry as long as possible before having to make it look "polished." It helps lessen the havoc wreaked on it otherwise! :) Maybe when it gets longer I won't have to worry about this, but as for now I'm stuck. I just make the best of it, and try to wreak as little havoc on my hair as possible.Hope this helps somewhat!
