Well, I heard so many good things about Artec that I ran right out and bought the smoothing shampoo and the smoothing conditioner. I actually shampoo'd my hair twice this weekend; the first time cause I was so excited about the new products and the second time because I went to bed with wet hair and woke up with a tangled mass (yuck!). I've got mixed opinion about it... I'm used to my hair feeling very soft and "moisturized" after using my normal shampoo but with the Artec my hair felt rough and more tangle prone-- the conditioner didn't change that feeling really. I definitely had more tangles than normal when I combed my hair out, although as it was drying it started to feel pretty soft. The second time I washed my hair, I used the Sebastian Potion #9 as leave in conditioner and my hair felt much better. All in all, I've decided to try the Artec one more time and then if my results aren't better, I'll give it away... It seems to me I did notice some breakage while I was combing my hair out, and I haven't seen that in a while. I was wondering if kiwi (one of the main ingredients in Artec smoothing shampoo and conditioner) is a fruit with a high concentration of vitamin C because my experience with my relaxed hair has been any item with a high vitamin C level makes my hair very dry and more fragile. Anyone else have this experience with Artec?
