I would really, really like to know a good clarifier - and one that's not too expensive, please. Also, how often should it be used? Thanks so much!

Hi Jen,I have loose curly hair and therefore, tend to be a bit heavy handed with the anti-frizz products. So once every two or three weeks, I use Neutrogena clarifying shampoo, and this REALLY does the trick-- my curls really come back to life. This shampoo is very inexpensive and if you use it like I do, it should last you at least 6 months to a year-- that's a bargain for a couple of bucks! One thing to remember about clarifiers, they don't have any knd of emulsifiers or conditiones in them what-so-ever (if they do, they aren't a clarifier), so after you wash your hair, it may not feel as silky when wet-- but this is because you are removing all of that heavy build-up. What I do, is just follow up with my regular conditioner and all is great when my hair dries. I really hope you give this stuff a shot. I know it was kinda gimicky when it came out, but it REALLY does work!Sherry> I would really, really like to know a good clarifier -> and one that's not too expensive, please.
