I had a permanent hair color done 2 months ago. I went from dark blonde with hi-lights, to all over light blonde. The roots are starting to show. I plan on becoming pregnant soon, and have a lot of health and hormonal problems. I do not want to continue coloring for 2 reasons, 1. I don't want to risk harm to the fetus, and 2.hair color does not always take well during pregnancy. When I tell you there aren't many good stylists in this area, I am not joking. Most of the stylists are woman with terrible looking hair, over processed, roots showing, I am scared to death to go to this next step of doing something to correct my hair so the roots do not look so bad. I am going to find someone if it kills me, but just so I know what to ask them, and to better understand what they tell me, here is what I have in mind...I do not want an all over color again....I was thinking of pulling hair through a cap, or foils with a color close to my natural being placed on, so that it can then blend in along with the light hair. Then just letting it all go for a while. Should the sylist use a filler? Should the stylist use a permanent, semi-perm or demi-perm color? I do not want anything that will wash out in 6-8 shampoos, because I will have to keep going back and clorong during pregnancy.Again, I really need to know what I am getting myself into, I have had bad experiences before.I
