I have naturally dark blonde hair that I have been coloring light golden brown for a few months. I have been using Loreal Feria - light golden brown.About 2 months ago, I switched to medium golden brown because the light brown kept fading and getting lighter than I wanted. The medium brown was TOO dark so when it was time for a touch up, I colored all my hair with my old light golden brown shade. I noticed that my roots were lighter, but the rest of my hair (with the old color) stayed dark.Then, like an idiot, about 4 weeks later, I decided that I'd go back to being blonde, so I used Clairol Nice N Easy natural golden blonde. Yikes. The blonde, of course, did not color over the brown. Now I have brown hair with blonde roots. I did that a week ago.Tonight, I used my Feria Light Golden Brown again. My roots are a LITTLE darker, but still lighter than the rest of my hair. I like my Feria light golden brown shade and I would like to keep using it. If I continue to color with that same shade, will it eventually even out? I would love to see a colorist, but I can't afford to right now. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
