Dawn, Dawn, do tell! Some time back, you recommended Nature's Gate Tea Tree Oil Shampoo for a scalp condition (I don't remember the message) like mine, that includes itchy scalp, big ole flakes, scabbiness, crusty and bleeding (when itched) scabs and general grodiness.I finally located the shampoo and am using it to no apparent effect. I wonder if I'm supposed to used it daily at first, or something. I usually shampoo every 2-3 days or so.Currently I have to wash my hair in the kitchen sink (hard on the back) due to plumbing problems. (I prefer tub or shower)Please refresh me, if you will, on the details you wrote of some months ago. Thanks much,RunningWild

Hi there Running Wild,Actually, it was the lovely Cher who recommended the Tea Tree shampoo as she mentioned it had cleared up a longstanding scalp problem her husband had been suffering from for many years. I don't have any firsthand details, but I'm fairly certain he simply used it as he would any other shampoo on an every couple of days basis. Perhaps your scalp problems are more serious. Have you tried some herbal rinses for psoriasis type skin troubles, comfrey, calendula and the like? Some folks suffer from chronic flareups such as yours when stress, diet or other factors are also influencing their lives. It may be serious enough to check with a physician, perhaps a holistic or naturopathic one could be of great help to you.I've always enjoyed your posts and surely hope you can find the help you need with what sounds like a troublesome issue!Very best wishes to all!DawnDawn, Dawn, do tell!> Some time back, you recommended Nature's Gate Tea Tree> Oil Shampoo for a scalp condition (I don't remember> the message) like mine, that includes itchy scalp, big> ole flakes, scabbiness, crusty and bleeding (when> itched) scabs and general grodiness.> I finally located the shampoo and am using it to no> apparent effect. For a condition like yours, you should definately visit a doctor. This is what I did and they have many different options that work so much better than anything you could buy over the counter.
