Hi, I was wondering, when you do the 20 minute treatment, you need to use a heated towel, right? How do you get the towel to stay hot for so long, and what do you use to heat it? Also, is the treatment for the hair only, or for the scalp too? Thanks.

Hi there! I am a MEGA fan of the Moisture Pac-- Ithink that I would diw wothout it (my hair too!). Anyway, when I do my treatments, I use a heated bonet that used to be my moms. However, in a pinch- like when I am traveling-- I have used a little plastic cap over the treatment. The cap acts as an insulating barrier and then the heat from your scalp does the work. As for using a heated towel, I have never tried it, because i figured the same thing that you did-- it would cool down way too fast. My suggestion to you, and this works almost as well as using a heated bonet, is go to your beauty suppply store and buy yourself a 15cent plastic cap (or use one from an old haircolor box). Then, after you put the Pac and the cap on, heat the outside with a dryer for a minute or two. Next, wrap your head in a towell (QVC makes a 'Twirly Towell' that wont come unwrapped) and let the heat from your scalp do some work on the moisture pac. I promise you, that this will work!SherryPS- I don't rub the stuff into my scalp, but I suppose that a little couldn't hurt.
