I'm thinking of getting my hair colored as a way of thickening my baby-fine hair. I think I might take it a touch darker, but my primary goal is to add texture. I know nothing about this process and would welcome any information or advice. Thanks!Michelle

Thanks!> MichelleIf I could go back in time I would have NEVER used permanent haircolor on my hair. I use to have long hair down to my back, but a girlfriend in high school said "Oh, you would look so good as a blonde." FAMOUS LAST WORDS That's been about 12 years ago and my hair is still not in the same condition it was in before I colored it. Maybe it was because it was just too drastic of a change, I went from a medium brown to Extra extra light ash blonde. But since your going darker, I would use Loving Care- the small box, it doesn't have anything bad in it. Or a semi. I have fine hair too and it does help the texture. My mom uses the loving care and she said that her hair feels thicker than without it. Right now I'm using Natural Instincts and I recommend it if your not wanting to cover grey, it's not very good at that. Anyway whatever you do GOOD LUCK!
