I did'nt get all of my shampoo rinsed out after my shower. I have long hair, and I try and rise thoroughly. My hair had the sudsy residue only in a couple of spots but it hurt while combing it out and I use a leave-in conditioner to get the tangles, plus the soapy part leaves my hair in little knots. Will the left in part weigh down or damage my hair?

No, leaving soap in your hair will not damage it, it will only make it feel "ucky" and sticky. When something like this happens, you may want to just dunk your head under the shower and rinse out the soap one more time. If that is inappropriate, you may want to try and just rinse off the ends to at least get some of the soap out.Don;t worry, this happens to all of us, all of the time. :-)Best wishes,Karen> I did'nt get all of my shampoo rinsed out after my> shower. Try using shampoo only on your scalp, then when you rinse letting the suds run through your hair. Wiht long hair, the ends tend to be dry anyway, so its probably better for them to not be washed as thoroughly.

After I rinse my hair in the shower, I rinse it again in the sink with cold water. This generaly removes all the residue. Jen is right about just washing the roots. I also feel that most people do not need all that much shampoo to wash their hair. The amount they use on comercials is insane. I hope this helps.
