It's fantastic. They make an anti-oxidant action daily shampoo and conditioner especially for hair washed in well water that's very gentle but effective. They have special in-salon treatments you can get every 4-6 weeks that remove mineral deposits, etc., as well as additives you can put into your favorite shampoo to help get rid of that coppery buildup. They have a website - I think its www.malibu2000.com that you can check in to. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to find. If there's a Trade Secret Salon, they carry it, or you can order it online at the Malibu website. It works!!

I do not have iron in my water, but my stylist recently suggested the Malibu 2000 iron line to help take out some of the color from a bad dye job and it worked very well for that so I'm sure it would help for your friend also.
