help me! i either seem to be having an allergic response to shampoo/conditioner, or have turned into a lizard. i have tried kms, joico, paul mitchell, sebastian to name a few of the expensive beauty store type (i should have bought something else nice like a new car), i have tried neutrogena's line, and almost everything sold in drugstores. i have tried jojoba oil, hot oil and leave ins, but i either get a terrible build up or flakes of the actual product, or my own scalp. i have coarse wavy hair - 3 feet of it, and doctor confirmed that this is not dandruff, can i use the oils from the african american hair product lines, or what impact will that have on styling? any thoughts on home remedies like vinegar or beer shampoos? any suggestions out there?

i use a miracle shampoo called "Dare to Wear Black" that I got from WW Beauty. I know the names a bit cheesey but the stuff really works! on the plus side:1. There isn't a nasty medicine smell2. The product isn't tested on animals3. I can use it with a regular conditioner and it doesn't counteract the flake fighting! It costs about $14 bucks but is well worth it! I say giveit a try!Regina
