Hi,I have used the Aveda madder root shampoo and conditioner for the last three days. My medium brown hair has a subtle reddish hue, which is pretty nice. I have been using a little bit more Elixir to combat the drying factor of the color conditioner, and a drop of Beautifying oil throughout the ends. So far I really like it.I feel lucky because 5 minutes from my house is an Aveda concept salon that has everything Aveda (makeup, skin care, even cleaning products, and of course, hair care), and they only charge a little bit more than what WWBeauty store did when they carried Aveda. For instance, the small size (I believe 8oz) of madder root shampoo was only $6. I guess I feel lucky because I still like Aveda a lot, even though I use Artec a lot as well. I want to try some of the other Aveda colors as well, maybe the black malva.Also, speaking of Artec, has anyone tried the Kiwi spray-on detangler?? What did you think?Thanks,Clare

Hi Clare,I have been meaing to answer your email from several days ago but I never seem to get to it. My apologies. I promise to get to it next week. I am getting ready to go on a business trip and will be gone for the next 5 days. So everything is chaos trying to get ready.As far as Kiwi Detangler....I love it. I use it all the time. Although I have to confess I have been using a lot of the Phyto 7 & Phyto 9 lately and I love that too. It makes my hair shine.I think the Kiwi Detangler..unlike the Kiwi shampoo makes my hair more moist. It definitely adds shine.Glad you are enjoying the Aveda and that it is easy to get and at a good price.
