It seems all I can ever get is a sort of "friends" shaggy, jaggedy layered look. My hair is all one length to my chin (except my bangs which I just unfortunately cut myself) and then it is layered from my chin to my shoulders. It is fine but naturally wavy and it always looks like a mess. What I want is a few layers to give it lift yet without the layers being obvious in and of themselves.Also, I'm looking for a style that works WITH my wavy hair, as I'm sick of beating it into submission every day to get that poker straight look that is so hot right now. Stylists don't seem to be willing to deviate from that either, even though I ask for that.I'm trying to grow it out but am on the verge of hacking it all off if I can't get a decent style soon.
