I have heard of an ingrediant that may be linked to cancer called "sodium laureth sulfate". I have found that this is a common ingrediant in a TON of household products and is used because it creates lather. It is found in SOME (not all) of the shampoos in that line. However, do not take my word for it, because I am not certain of the truth in it. Like I said before- I love it and continue to use it. ------------- s setterfield
