The bottles say they strengthen hair without weighing it down but I know the therappe shampoo has fixatives in it so I didn't know if these did also. I'm not sure if the shampoo has any fixatives, but the conditioner is light and wonderful, and although I really like a deep conditioner (like the Keraphix) it was ok as long as I deep conditioned at least once a week, and my hair was very managable. I did not like the Therape, and now I understand why. It kept me away from trying the other Nexxus shampoo, but I guess if I read the label and find the right one it will be ok. Anyway, I had to give the conditioner an honorable mention. It's not my favorite, but it's pretty good for a light conditioner (my hair seems to need extra moisture).
