Hi everyone. I'm new here, and I enjoy reading the posts! I know I'm not the first here to post about my wedding, but I am getting a little nervous! My hair has always been on the thinner side, although I have a large head, so it looks like I have more hair. For the past year or so (I'm 20), however, my hair has been getting more wiry (each strand is thicker). I would usually describe it as straight, but lately it has been ALMOST wavy. When I try to blow dry it straight, it just gets really frizzy. If I let it dry naturally, it is not quite curly; you could call it wrinkled. (The hairs underneath by my neck get a little more curly.) If I use mousse and scrunch it with a diffuser, it just looks stringy and crunchy. Is there a product I could use to tame my hair a little? And also, does this happen to many people (hair goes from straight to curly as one gets older)? And one more problem: I have those little short hairs on top of my hair that spring up and get curly (especially in the Houston humidity), giving me that dreaded "halo" of frizz. HOW can you make these lie down??? When I used pommade once, it made my hair disgustingly greasy. My wedding is exactly 2 months away. I really want an updo, but I am worried about the big head factor. My head is honestly larger than average, and makes my ears stick out some. When I had a french twist for my prom, I thought it looked too masculine. Any ideas for how to wear my hair? my veil is on a comb that I will wear either on top of my head or at the crown, and it will flow back over my hairdo.Thank you in advance for any help!
