How "blond" can the Shades take hair that is already a natural dark blonde? Does the Shades actually have any 'lift' in it? I want to go lighter, but not with highlights, as they are way too damaging to my hair. Thanks!

Thanks!To Debi;Shades EQ will not lift more than maybe 1/2 level if that, however 'Shades Above' a little different product can lift 1 to 1 1/2 levels if used properly. william
