Hi,Sounds like the chemicals may have been left on to long. The curl will drop out with time and you can speed it up with a very moisturizing shampoo, rinse out conditioner and a good softening detangler. I personally like the Aveda Shampure and Curessence conditioner for softness and the Curessence detangler. ARTec Smoothing shampoo and conditioner is less expensive but also works well. The moisturizing effect will soften the curls. You can also roll your hair on very large rollers and let either dry under a bonnet dryer or air dry.You can also use a straigtening iron with a large barrel to give you more "body" than curl. One other option is to go back to the shop and ask them to apply a solution to soften the curl. I would probably not do that personally since the less chemicals on your hair the better.Try the softening shampoos and conditioners as your first option. Remember, cold air make hair curl tighter and warm air makes it relax. So be sure if you blow dry NOT to set it on the cool setting.Best wishes,Karen> I went to get a body perm today thinking it would just> give my hair a little boost...I have tight curls all> over my head...any ideas for removing my perm...I> don't mind doing the perm thing with the perm> solution...unless there are other ideas out> there...PLEASE HELP!!!!!
