Hi there!I have two reccomendations for you. If you are looking for a gel that gives soft to medium hold without silicones, i would suggest Paul Brown Hawaii Gelatine Goo. This is a gteat setting gel and perfect for a very natural look and hold. For a firmer hold, try The NEW Biolage Gelee (this bottle has a big green leaf on the front-- the onld one does not and it contains a silicone). The Gelee provides excellent fimr hold which is great for controlling curly styles or for slicked back wet looks! It can get crunchy, but if yu watch the dossage, it shouldn't be a problem :) Hope this helps!Sherry> Hello,> Can anyone recommend a good hair gel that does not> have "cones" in them. I also like using hair gel, but don't like using anything that makes my hair look flat. I wasn't aware of the fact that if hair gel contains silicone it can irritate the scalp. I use a lot of different styling products and my scalp often becomes itchy.SHERRI
