Can anyone suggest the best styling products in Paul Mitchell's line (or other quality salon styling products). I have Wax Works but it makes my hair feel dry and brittle after the application. Should I be using a different item?I wash my hair with Pantene's shampoo for dry and damaged hair (my hair is very coarse, baby fine,thin, dry and breaks off at the ends). I condition it with Pantene's Deep Fortifying Conditioner, dry it wrap style under the dry, spray some Thermasilk hoding spray on it, curl it,add some Kemi Oil and add the Wax Works. Should I be doing something different?

Caron,I hear that Paul Mitchell's Hair Repair works very well. I've also heard that ArTec Moisture Pac is good for very dry hair. I'm on a mission to grow my African-American hair very long, as it was when I was a child, so I've decided not to use any more heat styling products. I truly believe that curling irons and straightening irons seriously damage the hair shaft. I'm now keeping my hair braided or in a bun and I continuously use oil (olive oil or jojoba) on my hair and scalp, plus a leave in conditioner (Vo5 Hair Therapy). I try to massage my scalp every day to stimulate growth. After these treatments my hair feels extremely soft.
