Hi, I have my hair lowlighted ash brown & highlighted light "white" blond. The problem is... my hair just won't hold the color of the lowlights for more than maybe 2 weeks if that. After two weeks it fades to a reddish light brown color. I really am getting sick of this, my ends always look reddish when I put my hair up and compare the ends to my totally ash crown! HELP me please. ;) How should I get my hairdresser to get the color to stay? Or am I just out of luck?

Also, if you shampoo and condition you hair in water hoter than lukewarm, that will fade it. why does it do this just to your ends. because your ends are processed more, more damaged is done to that part of your hair so its not as heathy as your roots. And is your stlyist lowlighting some of the blonde strands when you get a touch up? Blonde hair, especially colored light blonde hair wont hold it quit as well.
