Date Posted: January 12 2000 at 5:35am I had a professional put some streaks in the front of my hair a week or 2 ago, & I have very dark hair. So, what she had to do was first strip the color out & then put a color over top. I wanted it red, but it came out orange. I went back to have her fix it & it basically did the same thing. I don't mind it too much but my husband HATES it! So anyhow my question is this: I have some permanent color at home to cover grey hair. I thought about either just covering it up OR just getting my hair totally cut. Its already pretty short, but I love short hair! Will the permanent color be really bad on the parts that were stripped? My hair is DARK brown (almost black) & I was just going to put a black color in it.
