I apologize in advance for the long post:My hair is dark brown and I have white hair growing in now. I also have a relaxer. I had been using a Mahogany celaphane to cover the gray but got tired of the red highlights. I would like to go to a basic brown or a lighter brown. I'm thinking that my white hair will show as highlights and this does not bother me. What is the best hair color product for me to use to achieve what I want? Perm, Semi-perm, rinse.Also is it true that Celaphanes condition the hair. I've heard various thoughts from not to color and relax on the same day and that Celaphanes are 'good' for your hair so not to worry. I really do not want to get a relaxer and walk around with white roots and then spend more time back in the salon getting a color the following week.I appreciate any thoughts!
