I have naturally wavy (in some areas, CURLY) hair. I have worn it long (below shoulder-length) for years. Sometimes with bangs, sometimes without, sometimes with layers, sometimes with none. I am just getting so sick of messing with my hair (and sweeping piles of it off the bathroom floor), and I'd really like a shorter cut. The only shorter cuts I have tried before were either too round and bushy (lots of layers), or triangular and bushy (no layers), and I didn't like either one of them. I have been searching for hairstyles and I find very few curly styles to choose from. I love my hair straight, but it takes forever and tends to get frizzy. My other big concern is that my face is long and narrow, and I don't want to emphasize its shape. Can anybody help me find a style?

It depends how sick you are of your hair but I think you should go for an "above the ears" cut. This cut will suit the shape of your face. You can cut the hair on top in layers, it will be a little bushy on top but since your hair is short it will look very nice with lots of volume on top. It's a big step but you'll love it! Good luck, Helen
