Hi Everyone :)Okay, I have a couple more questions before I call it a night and hit the hay. LOL! Boy, do I LOVE coming here! :)I'm curious. How often do you shampoo? Is it really bad to shampoo your hair every day? Also, when you shampoo is it best to use cold or warm water? What works best for you? I'd love to hear. Thanks!Because I have an oily scalp, most of the time I shampoo everyday. However I'm trying to cut back a little because I think it's causing my hair to become a little too dry. Also, when I shampoo I hear the colder the water you use, the better, but I usually use slightly warm water. Thanks!!Maria :)Related Link:Maria In Mass

Hello. I only shampoo my hair twice a week. I don't think it is necessarily bad to shampoo everyday. It all depends on what type of hair you have. Some people feel much better when they wash everyday, but it isn't necessary for me. I have curly hair, so each morning I wet and condition my hair, but skip the shampoo. Then, twice a week, I shampoo and use a deep conditioner. This has worked great for me so far and my hair's condition seems to be improving every day. Also, I use lukewarm water while I shampoo and shower, then I do my final rinse with cool water. This is not necessarily better for the hair, but it shocks the cuticle closed and makes the hair look a bit smoother and shinier. The colder the water, the tighter the cuticle will close, but I haven't been able to stand under frigid water while I rinse my conditioner out. So I just make the water as cold as I can comfortably stand it.Hope I've answered your questions. :)
