About the color, you might want to go to *another* stylist in a few weeks to have it fixed. Now, as to growth, although I haven't taken it myself (except for the small amount in multivitamins), I've heard some very good things about biotin, from more than one source. You might also want to look for some articles here at the Hair Botique on growth promoting supplements. Good luck! If you are diligent in your regrowth efforts, your hair should be long enough to braid again soon, and to style as long hair again in about 2-3 years.
