Date Posted: January 12 2000 at 5:54am I have light golden brown color-treated hair and would like to go lighter, but I am really afraid of bleaching my hair and the damage it might cause. I realize that without bleach I can't be an out and out blonde and that's o.k. I just want to go as light as I can without getting that brassy/orange look.So, my question is, what is the lightest I could go, without turning orange or brassy in a one-process coloring-at-home treatment? What color should I buy, and just to be safe should I add a red/gold corrector to my color formula?Thank you very much for your advice. Replies:
