I'm sure this subject have been covered many (!) times, but I'm fairly new to the board and couldn't find my specific problem covered so I'm asking anyway.I have very fine, very curly hair, which is naturally a lovely dirty blonde. I used to colour, colour, colour, and blow dry straight, but in March of this year decided to go with the flow and let it curl, so I went to my hairdresser and got all the damaged bits cut off. My hair had subsequently grown to just below my chin, and was in good shape, very healthy looking (and not too frizzy). About three weeks ago, I wanted to liven up the colour, so went to my hairdresser and got a permanent red put in (I know he used Swarzkopf, but not sure of the actual shades). Anyway, my hair is now extremely dry again. I would like to fix it, without having to get it all cut off again (I've already had about 1 1/2" taken off).I'd appreciate any and all suggestions on how to reverse some of the damage, if at all possible! Thanks,

Harper,Please see post to "Need a really moisturizing shampoo and conditioner". I would also suggest a deep conditioner (Minus the silicones, for the best possible chances)once a week. I also recommend a cold water final rinse, as it seals the cuticle.Be very gentle with your hair, you probably know the routine: Only blot with a towell, comb out with the widest tooth pick as possible. There's a website for curly hair, but I don't know the address. I think it has a link on the "link" section of this site. Maybe they will have more tips for you to try.Holly
