If anyone can give me some sound advice, I sure would appreciate it. I have had short hair (pixie cut) for the last two years. I have been having it bleached and then toned to a champange blonde. My natural color is dark blonde to light brown. My problem is that I am now growing it out and the bleached blonde is much too harsh for a longer style. I would like to go back closer to my natural color with blonde highlights. I am not sure how to go about this. Can you do a reverse foil, or should I have it died back to my natural color and foil it? Please help. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi,If you are willing to have a professional do it, you can ask them to do "multi weaving" where they literally weave in anywhere from 2-4 different shades of color...generally within 2 shades lighter or darker than your natural color. They can use foils placed strategically to do this and help your old color grow out gracefully and your new color grow in well. I have seen some stunning color weaves lately. However I must warn you that this does require a specialist.I saw the results of a weave done in Dallas where a honey blonde had shades of butterscotch and darker honey woven together and it was stunning.This can be pricey, but it will achieve the desired results if you find a good colorist.Hope that helps.Best wishes,Karen> If anyone can give me some sound advice, I sure would> appreciate it. I have been having a colorist do my hair, but I'm not impressed with her ability to accomplish what I want. If you have any suggestions on how to find a good colorist please let me know.
