Hi!, I was at a bookstore on Saturday and I saw the book by Oprah's hairstylist. I was looking through it and came across a paragraph that said all he did to Oprah's hair was shampoo and condition it then blowdry it straight without any products because they didn't work anyway. I have found the products that claim to straighten to not work sometimes, but I have used products that have worked a little bit. I was just wondering if anyone has followed the same routine as Oprah without using anything to straighten your hair other than a blowdryer? If you have, can you teel me what type of hair you have and if it worked because I think my hair would just be frizzy. I'm sorry this was so long, but thanks for any help.

your best bet is to use FRIZZ EAZZ. i have thick and naturally curly (more wavey) hair. i have found it is just best for me to live with it instead of tring to fight it. other wise, pantene pro-v did some thing wonderful. it helped to calm and smooth my hair.

I used to use Revlon straightening compound for kids (can't remember the name) until a year ago. It was OK but it was really tricky to work with and on several occasions it left my hair limp as hell for weeks. It also was very caustic. I then started using Thermasilk products including the shampoo, conditioners designed for difficult hair, the gel and spray. Along with an 1800 watt blower from Sharper image, m y used to be wavy to frizz hair is now like silk except on humid days- I use a little Humectress to help then. Good luck I think you will like it- infact I used Pantene for months and this is much better...
